AKSU extends registration for students.


 This information cuts across all the students of Akwa-Ibom State University that the instituttion has extended course registration and other registration to last for one week and the deadline date is 17th of March, 2017 though the normal registration was closed on the 10th of March, 2017.

 From the Memo signed by the Registrar of the Institution, find below the memo;

‘Following representation and an appeal by officials of Akwa Ibom State University Students Union executive led by Comr. Ikobong Ekette, the Vice-Chancellor has graciously approved an extension period for Normal payment of school fees /course registration (without Penalty). The deadline for normal registration hitherto was Friday (10/03/2017) and this has now been extended by one (1) week. The new deadline is now midnight of Friday 17/03/2017.

Accordingly, the University Portal will remain open for normal registration and fee-payment till the 17th of March 2017. Therefore, Students/sponsors are advised to seize this grace given by the Vice-Chancellor to pay their fees and register accordingly.

Kindly note that late registration (with penalty), will commence on Monday (20/03/2017) and end on Friday (31/03/2017).

Any student, who for any reason is not able to meet the above deadline, is advised to apply, thought their respective Head of Department, for deferment of studies. Also, any student who had between Monday (13/03/2017) and Tuesday (14/03/2017) made any fee payment (with the penalty surcharge) into the University account, is required to write a letter to the University for a refund of the said penalty fee.
